Please follow these steps to generate/create a Subscription card:
1. Log into the Mesh platform as an Administrator.
2. Click on the + icon and then on the 'New card' link.
3. Click on Subscription and Saas.
4. Select the application (i.e., the name of the merchant/vendor) from the drop-down.
Note:
- You may select only one vendor.
- Mesh offers an extensive vendor catalog with more than 6,000 service providers to choose from.
- If a vendor that you are looking for is not available simply type its name and click on the enter button.
5. In the Details section type a Description, Assign the card to a user, and enter the Amount, Period, Currency, and Subscription frequency.
6. In the Settings section enter the Start date, End date, select an approving manager if relevant (i.e., is a step in your company's workflow), select the outcome of a budget violation (i.e., Alert or Decline) and check the box next to Mission Critical in case you want the Mesh Support team to pay extra attention to this card and alert you in case of a problem.
Note: Re end date
- You may decide that you would like to test a product/service from a merchant/vendor and not pay after the trial period. In this case, set the end date to the trial period.
- Perpetual refers to the lifetime of the card - 5 years from the creation date. We recommend to set it the end date to perpetual if you know that this is a recurring payment to a known vendor.
7. Decide if receipts and memos are required for this card.
Note: Additional configurations, such as populating custom fields, may be necessary if the platform is integrated with an ERP.
8. Check the details entered and click on the Submit button.
9. Since creating a payment method is a financial transaction, the Mesh platform requires the Admin to enter a five-digit code sent via SMS. Enter the code to finish the process.
10. If all goes well, the platform will generate the subscription card and the Employee will be notified.
11. Note that subscription cards appear both on the Subscriptions and the Budgets & Cards pages.
12. If you have additional questions, please reach out to our team by sending an email to support@meshpayments.com
