Please follow the steps below to activate a Plug & Pay card as an Administrator:
1. Log into the Mesh platform with an Administrator or Pro profile.
2. Navigate to the Cards & Budgets page and check that you can see the Plug & Pay Cards link.
Note: If you received physical cards but you do not see the mentioned link, please email our team at support@meshpayments.com.
2. Click the Plug & Pay Cards link to check that your physical cards are listed.
Note: The orange dot indicates that the card is not yet assigned to an employee or not paired with a virtual card.
3. Select a Plug & Pay card, click on the three horizontal dots, select the Assign to Employee option, and follow a three-step process.
3a. Enter the Plug & Pay Card's CID and click on the Next button. You can find the card CID # on the back of the card.
3b. Select an Employee and click on the Next button.
3c. Select the Connect a budget or the Connect later option. If you selected the first option click on the dropdown list and select a budget.
3d. The platform will present a success message indicating that the Administrator side setup is completed. Click on the Close button.
Note: Employees still need to activate the card from their end.
Hand the Plug & Pay card to the relevant Employee and remind the Employee to activate the card. The dot next to the Plug & Pay card will remain 'orange' until the Employee completes the activation.
As soon as the Employee completes the activation and pairing tasks, the card's color will turn green on the Administrator's end.
Notes:
- If you need to distribute several Plug & Pay cards, please perform the above for each card.
- An Administrator can navigate to the Plug & Pay Cards page and perform the following operations: Unplug, Unassign, ReAssign, and Plug a new virtual card.
- It is not possible to pair a Subscription card with a Plug & Pay card. Users can pair a General-Purpose card, a fuel card, and a Travel card.
- Since Administrators can own Plug & Pay cards, their view, under the Cards page, includes the company's virtual cards, physical cards, and the physical card assigned to them.
