Users with an Admin or Pro profile or those with Travel Manager permissions can edit a planned trip, an in-progress trip, and an ended trip. A closed trip must be reopened before it can be edited.
To edit a trip as a strong user, follow these steps:
1. Log in to the platform using an Admin, Pro, or Travel Manager account.
2. Navigate to: Travel → Trips → Trips tab. Locate the trip you want to edit and click to open it.
3. Click the three-dot icon in the upper right corner of the trip page and select Edit trip.
4. Make the necessary changes, then click Submit to send the edit for approval through the Trip Edit Requests workflow.
5. Track the request under Travel → Trips → Pending approval tab
Notes:
- Travelers (i.e., users with an Employee profile) cannot request trip edits at the moment. However, they can use the in-app messaging feature (Comments) to communicate with the appropriate users for assistance.
- Some changes (e.g., adding or subtracting days from the trip) may affect the trip's budget.
