To allow error correction, missing receipts uploading, and accurate reporting, users with an Admin profile can unlock previously locked transactions for editing purposes. This allows them to attach receipts and change the transaction items (e.g., Memo, Spend Category, transaction coding) after syncing transactions to the ERP.
Follow the steps below to unlock transactions synced to your ERP:
1. Log in to the Mesh platform with an Admin profile.
2. Locate the synced transaction on the 'Accounting'ย page, under the 'Done' tab.ย
3. Click on the โkebabโ icon and then the 'Unlock' button.
4. Add or change the existing receipt, change the Spend Category, Memo, and transaction coding.
5. After changing the relevant information, click the โkebabโ icon again, and then the 'Lock' button to lock the transaction.ย
Notes:
- To unlock a transaction on the Mesh platform, the appropriate configuration has to be enabled on the Mesh backend.ย
- Synced transactions cannot be re-synced, even after unlocking and changing the relevant items.ย
- It is also possible to unlock/lock from the Transaction page.ย
