Inline editing enables users to modify data directly within the current view or page, eliminating the need to navigate to a separate edit screen (e.g., the transaction modal). Mesh offers inline editing on the 'Transactions' page, allowing users to seamlessly add or update memos, and select or modify Spend Categories, and Custom Fields.

Notes:

• The 'Accounting' page offers partial support for this feature. Users can add/edit values of custom fields from the table. 
• The Custom Field dependencies option is supported with inline editing.   
• The incomplete tab and its expense table supports inline editing. It is possible to set budget, spend category and memo from the expense table.
• In the future, the functionality will be added to additional pages in the platform.
