Mesh allows power users (i.e., users with Admin or Pro profiles) to merge cards.
It is possible to merge cards that share a currency and a window (i.e., replenishment schedule).
Follow the steps below to merge cards.
1. Log into the Mehs platform with your Admin or Pro profile.
2. Navigate to the Cadrs & Budgets and click on Virtual Cards.
3. Use the filters to search for the card you wish to merge with another.
4. Click on the ellipsis and the 'Merge to another card' option.
5. Type the name of a card or select a card from the drop-down menu, and click 'Next'.
6. Check the details of the proposed changes and click 'Merge'.
7. The above sequence results in a single card. The name of the 'merged' card is the name of the card you started the process with. The merged card will inherit the properties (e.g., owner name, expiration date, etc.) of the card you selected to merge into (i.e., the card chosen from the drop-down menu in step 5).
Notes:
- The option to merge cards must be enabled in the Mesh backend. To learn more about this feature, please email our team at support@meshpayments.com.
- The 'other' card gets canceled and can not be revived.
- The history of the card reflects the budget edit.
