The expense approval workflow dictates which approvers are involved in the process.
Approvers need to navigate to 'Pending My Approval' and click on 'Expenses' to review them.
This page presents a consolidated view designed to give approvers the context they need to review and approve expenses efficiently. Requests are grouped by employee name and budget type, and you can search for all requests or filter by a specific user.
Approvers select one or more requests and click the 'Approve' button.
Approvers can click on the ⓘ icon to present the approval flow.
Approvers can click each an expense, review its details and take an action (e.g., Approve, Decline or Reassign the request).
Note: When a request is declined, the submitter will receive a relevant notification. However, if approved, it will progress to the next step in the approval process until the final approver approves the request.
Approvers can also use the Comments to converse with the requester and other approvers.
Strong users (i.e., users with an Admin or Pro profile) can review expenses under the 'In Review' tab of the 'Expenses' page. Those users can help relieve bottlenecks by taking actions on behalf of other approvers.
