The Mesh in-app messaging functionality, also known as 'Comments', facilitates communication about Mesh-related issues, contributing to faster problem resolutions.
Users can add comments to various objects, such as requests (e.g., budgets, cards, reimbursements), trips, and transactions. All users who can access an object can leave a comment and participate in the shared correspondence. Additionally, you can use mentions (i.e., @name) to draw a user's attention.
To leave a comment, navigate to the upper right-hand side of an object, click on the message icon, write a comment, and click on the submit icon.
Here is an example of a communication between a user with an employee profile and another user with an Admin profile conversing about a fucntionality.
Note: users will be advised of comments waiting for them via email and push notifications however, at this point, it is possible to reply (i.e., add a comment) only via the Mesh platform.
