You can request a card/budget with a future activation date (aka 'start date'). This feature provides another control layer, ensuring proper use and avoiding unexpected charges.
To set a future activation date request a card and specify the 'Start date' in the Settings section. Administrators can also set a future activation date when they generate a card/budget and assign it to a user.
The default activation date of a card is 'Upon budget creation', but you can set a future date by clicking on the mentioned link.

The 'details section' of a card/budget, created with a future activation date, will present the creation, start, and end date and be 'INACTIVE' until the start date (midnight GMT).

Note: Administrators can edit the start date field and change the activation date.Â
