The 'Total budget' label represents the amount allocated to the card, considering the frequency (i.e., recurring period), creation, and end date.
To view the card's 'Total budget':
1. Navigate to the 'Cards & Budgets' page.
2. Click on the 'Virtual Cards' link.
3. Select one of the listed cards and scroll down to find the 'Total budget' label under the 'Details' section on the left-hand side.
Notes:
- This feature needs to be enabled in the Mesh backend. Contact our team at support@meshpayments.com if you want to enable this feature.
- A card created with a future activation date will be 'INACTIVE' and present the 'creation', 'start', and 'end' dates. When the card becomes 'active' that section presents the 'Created On' and 'End' dates.Â
- The 'Total budget' of a 'single-use' or 'lifetime' card is the card's 'Spend Limit'.
- The 'Total budget' of a card that replenishes takes into consideration the frequency, creation, and end date (e.g., a card that renews once a month with $1,000 that is good for 5 years will have a Total budget of $1,000 x 12 x 5 = $60,000).Â
- The Mesh Approval Workflow takes the total budget under consideration during the approval process.Â
- When users transact with a card or budget, the accumulating spent amount (i.e., spend/total budget) is presented.
