Users can suspend a virtual card if they suspect fraudulent or suspicious activity.
Note: While Admins can reactivate a suspended virtual card, it is NOT possible to do so on a canceled card.
To temporarily suspend a card please follow the instructions below:
1. Navigate to the Cards & Budgets menu and click on the Virtual Cards page.
2. Click on the 3 dots next to a card and then click on Suspend Card.
3. The status will change to suspended and your Admin can reactivate it.
Note:
- You can use the filters to look for suspended cards.
- If you attempt to transact with a suspended card it will be declined. The same applies to a card that was canceled.
- If a transaction was authorized (i.e., pending with an orange dot) and the card is subsequently suspended, it will settle properly. The same applies to a canceled card or to a card whose budget was reduced after transacting.
- If a merchant issues a refund to a suspended card, it will be processed successfully. The same applies to a card that was canceled.
- Request a new card/budget for a spending purpose if your Mesh Admin does not reactivate your suspended card.
