The Expiration Date (also known as VALID/GOOD THRU date), as defined by VISA, may differ from the End Date provided by the Mesh platform as an option to customize a card's spending limitations.
VISA's Expiration Date is set at five years from the day the card was issued and cannot be edited, while the End Date on the Mesh platform can vary between one day and five years, aligning with VISA's maximum allowed validity.
When users use the Mesh virtual cards to purchase goods/services or to set up the card in digital wallets, they should provide the 'VALID/GOOD THRU' date displayed on the card, rather than the Mesh End Date.
In the following example, although the card is valid until June of 2028, transactions that occur after June 2nd, 2024, will be declined (cards will expire according to the End Date you chose).
