To enable Reconciliation Flow, log into the Mesh platform as an Admin or as a user with Technical Admin permissions. navigate to the upper left side, click on your company, and then on the Company Settings link. Scroll down to the Accounting settings section, and toggle the Require Reconciliation Flow switch to ON.
As soon as a power user enables the feature, several icons (e.g., In Review, Hold, and Ready) will appear on a selected transaction.
Identifying transactions with those options helps finance team members communicate with each other while performing end-of-month tasks (i.e., closing the books).
When a finance team member marks a transaction using one of those flags, it appears on the Transactions page under a column named Reconciliation Status which the user can sort and filter by.
Important:
1. To present the Reconciliation Status column on the Transactions page, make sure that the Accounting icon located in the upper right corner of the Transactions page is clicked.
2. It is possible to select several transactions. Click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the Transactions page, and apply the relevant tags (i.e., In review, Hold, or Ready) to all the transactions at once.
3. Adding the mentioned reconciliation tags (i.e., 'In review', 'Hold', or 'Ready') does NOT sync the Mesh transactions to an ERP.
- Refer to this article for more info about syncing options.
