Plaid is a secure verification method that helps link a customer's US bank account to their Mesh account. Once connected, and upon a customer's request to load a balance, Mesh will ACH debit funds from your bank account. 

Follow the steps below to load a balance to the Mesh platform using Plaid as an instant verification method:

1. Click the + icon then Load Balance, type in the amount, and click Next.   

2. Select the first option, Bank Account Debit - Instant Verification, and click Next. 

3. Mesh uses Plaid to verify your account. Click Continue. 

4. Select your bank from the drop-down list (or search for one). 

5. Enter your bank's credentials and click on Submit.

6. If you have several accounts, select the one you want to use and click Continue.

7. Plaid will verify your account. If successful, you'll see a success message. Click Continue. 

8. Click on Confirm Load to finish. 

9. Mesh will send you a five-digit MFA code via SMS. Type the code and click Enter. 

Note: Each attempt to fund your account is reviewed by the Mesh Compliance department. It may take 2-3 days for you to see the funds in your Mesh account.

10. The newly added funding source will be saved on the Mesh platform, and future attempts to fund the account will be faster.  

Note: A single online bank account can be connected to the Mesh platform. Contact our team at support.meshpayments.com if you need to reset your bank account and connect to a different one.
