The Mesh platform offers multiple user profiles, each defined by distinct permissions essential for regulating the actions users can perform within the platform. By assigning tailored profiles the platform ensures that access and functionality align appropriately with each user's role and responsibilities.
Below is a list of the available profiles with a short description of each:
- 'Admin': A superuser with full access to all the platform's features. These capabilities include adding funds, adding users, generating/approving virtual cards, trips, and reimbursements, configuring account details, and viewing reports to name a few features.
- 'Pro': A powerful user with most of the Admin's capabilities. The user with a Pro profile can not: view the full card's account, change the balance shield settings, set up things under 'Company Settings' (e.g., configuring HRIS), and add all user profiles.
- 'Auditor': An insightful 'read-only' Pro user who has permission to view all the modules in the platform but not create/approve cards or add balance to the company.
-
'Employee': Users with this profile can view their cards and associated transactions, request additional cards, and add memos, and receipts to transactions linked to their cards. They can also request trips and access the trip dashboard.
- Users with an 'Employee' profile may be granted viewing permissions if they manage others in the organization.Â
- Users with an 'Employee' profile may be granted additional permissions, such as:
- 'Contact Only': Users that do not have access to the Mesh Payments platform. Administrators can assign cards to these users and share the card's information with them. It is possible to 'upgrade' such a user to an 'Employee' profile.Â
Notes:
- Most permissions (e.g., Travel Manager, T&E Delegate, etc.) can be assigned by an Administrator through the Mesh User Interface on the Employee profile page. Other permissions (e.g., Tech Admin and Creating Users) are added by Mesh from the backend.Â
- The Admin, Pro, and Auditor profiles include permissions of an 'Employee' profile. This means that users with such profiles can also benefit from the Mesh spend and Travel Management offering (e.g., cards, trips, and reimbursements) in addition to their managerial roles.Â
- Contact our team at support@meshpayments.com if you have any questions about profiles and permissions.
