An Admin or a user with the Creating Users permission can edit the contact information of an Employee or a Contact Only profile.
Please follow the steps below to edit the contact information:
1. Make sure that you are logged into the Mesh platform as an Administrator or as a user with permissions to create other users.
2. Navigate to the Employees page.
3. Click on a user with an Employee or Contact Only profile.
4. Scroll to the Contact Information section and click on the Edit link.
5. The Admin can change the First name, Last name, and or Mobile number. When done click on the Save button.
Important: It is not possible to change the email address of a user as it serves as a unique identifier in the Mesh platform.
Notes:
- It is NOT possible to update the contact information of strong users such as Admin, Pro, and Auditor. Please contact our team at support@meshpayments.com if you need to update the mentioned profiles.
- If the admin changes a user's mobile number, the user will be required to verify their new number by entering a multi-factor authentication (MFA) code sent via SMS during their next login.
